Groups on the Mississippi Gulf Coast
Available from Visit Mississippi Gulf Coast
The Mississippi Gulf Coast is different. You’ll feel it the moment you arrive. It’s the caress of the soft breezes off the Mississippi Sound and the gentle touch of warm sunshine. There is so much to do here that you’ll have to come back again and again.
Discover the history and culture that belong uniquely to the Mississippi Gulf Coast by exploring museums and historic sites. The Walter Anderson Museum of Art in Ocean Springs showcases the art of Walter Anderson, an American Master and his brothers, Peter and Mac Anderson. Exhibits include local and regional artists whose works are similar. The Frank Gehry designed Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art in Biloxi also exhibits local and regional artists works as well as the priceless collection of Ohr Pottery.
The Mississippi Gulf Coast, located on the Mississippi Sound within the Gulf of Mexico, is home to scenic coastal beaches, cultural attractions, year-round entertainment and special events. You can enjoy the fresh gulf breezes of the Mississippi Sound aboard a replicated historic schooner, real shrimping expedition or book a charter out to Ship Island, one of our barrier islands, to tour historic Fort Massachusetts. While on the water, be sure to watch for Atlantic bottle-nosed dolphins!
Eco-tours on pristine rivers are also available for groups. Guides will identify local flora and fauna and help you see native animals as well.
